Uniqueness of this attractionLocated specifically in Sambirejo Village, Breksi Cliff Park or also known as Tebing Breksi Jogja is one of the recent attractions in Yogyakarta. This stone mining cliff features a panoramic scenery of Prambanan and Mount Merapi. The top of the cliff is also a great spot to catch the sunrise and sunset view. One can also see the view of Candi Ijo Yogyakarta on the east side.

Find detailed carving works on the surrounding walls as you explore the Breksi Cliff Park and get a unique photography opportunity while you are at it. There is a also a park where you can relax with your loved ones, have a chat and enjoy local snacks too. At night, the view here will be different as the cliff will be decorated with beautiful lights. At the bottom of the cliff, there is a unique open-air stage known as Tlatar Seneng where visitors get to watch cultural and art performances.

Breksi Cliff Park is also deemed as one of the preserved cultural heritage in Yogyakarta due to its cliff formations and ancient history. The cliff was originally formed million of years ago and the mining activities done here have naturally turned the cliffs into unique shapes. Local artists have also contributed their carving skills to make this attraction more interesting. You can find carving works such as the Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet) and a dragon shape at this cliff’s wall.
